1 Q. What are the documents required for vehicle registration?

  1. A)   In case you are a customer paying full cash :
  2.    4 Nos. of passport size photographs (5 Nos. of Photos in case of Affidavit)
    2.    Duly filled up and signed Form 20
    3.    Proof of Residence  (Example: Ration card or Passport or Voters ID or Current driving license or Affidavit signed by Notary public)
  3. B)   In case you are a customer availing Loan/Hire Purchase:
  4.    5 Nos. of passport size photographs (6 Nos. of photos in case of affidavit)
    2.    2 Copies of Duly filled up and signed Form 20 by customer & Financier
    3.    Proof of Residence (Example: Ration card or Passport or Voters ID or Current driving license or Affidavit signed by Notary public)

2 Q. What are the documents required for availing Loan/ Hire Purchase?

The following documents are required for availing Hire Purchase:
1.    ID proof (Ex. Driving License or PAN card or Passport or Voter’s ID)
2.    Bank statement for last 3 Months
3.    Proof of Income
4.    Post dated cheques / ECS mandate
5.    Proof of Residence  (Example: Ration card or Passport or Voters ID or Current driving license or Affidavit signed by Notary public)

3 Q. What are the documents required for Exchanging my old 2 Wheeler?

The following documents are required to complete Exchange transactions:
1.    Form 29
2.    Form 30
3.    Form 35 & NOC from HP Company (In case HP endorsement is yet to be cancelled in the R C of Your old vehicle)
4.    Registration Certificate/Smart card
5.    Valid vehicle Insurance

4 Q. What do you mean by mandatory accessories?

For the purpose of registering your new 2- Wheeler at the RTO,  certain accessories are to be mandatorily fitted on your bike,  as stipulated by the Motor Vehicles Act.
The following are Mandatory accessories:
1.    Rear view mirror
2.    Number plates
3.    Sari guard
4.    Crash guard

5 Q. Are accessories purchased from GL Suzuki covered by warranty?

Accessories purchased from GL Suzuki are provided with a warranty cover for manufacturing defects for 6 month duration.

6 Q. While purchasing my new vehicle from your dealership, do I have the option of selecting my bike?

GL Suzuki is one of the largest dealers for Suzuki in Delhi has the largest stock and widest range of all models and colors.  Our customers are welcome to select the vehicle of their choice from this extensive range.

7 Q. Would you give delivery of my new vehicle at my door step?

GL Suzuki would be happy to arrange delivery of your new vehicle at your door step on the date and time of your convenience at an extra charge for beyond 5 KMS from our showroom.

8 Q. Can GL Suzuki assist me in renewal of insurance for my vehicle?

GL Suzuki would be happy to assist customers with renewal of insurance for their vehicles.  Renewal of insurance can be done without production of vehicle for physical verification if the earlier insurance is yet to expire.  The vehicle has to be produced for physical verification by the insurance company in case the insurance has already expired.

9 Q. Can GL Suzuki assist me in HP cancellation at the end of the tenure after completion of payment of all EMIs?

GL Suzuki would be happy to assist customers with cancellation of HP endorsement in the RC, after completion of payment of all dues to Finance Company.Customers would have to pay the requisite charges to the RTO for cancellation.  There will be no service charges from our side.

10 Q. Can GL Suzuki assist me, a physically challenged person, to convert my Suzuki 2 Wheeler to a 3 Wheeler?

GL Suzuki would be happy to assist physically challenged customers in getting their Suzuki 2 Wheeler converted to a 3 Wheeler.

11 Q. Does GL Suzuki offer test rides of new vehicles to customers?

GL Suzuki offers free test rides to all customers for all vehicles

12 Q. I intend buying a Suzuki 2 Wheeler, but I am busy right now and cannot come to the showroom. Can GL Suzuki assist me with the purchase?

GL Suzuki would be happy to assist busy customers by offering test ride, completing all booking, registration, hire purchase formalities and delivering the vehicle at the door step of the customer.

1 Q. Till when is my bike eligible for warranty replacements?

Your Suzuki bike is eligible for warranty replacements even after your free services are completed. (Please refer you manual book). You should have completed all your service on time as per schedule at any authorized service centre or dealership in the country.

2 Q. What is the procedure for claiming insurance if my vehicle has met with an accident?

  1. The vehicle should have a valid comprehensive insurance.
    2. The driver should have permanent 2- wheeler driving license.
    3. A letter/FIR from the traffic Police is required if the estimate of damages is above Rs.10000/-
    4. Inform the concerned insurance company/Branch within a couple of days after the accident and obtain a claim form from the insurance company. Carry with you the original RC book, Insurance, and driving license along with photo copies for verification by the insurance company.
    5. The vehicle may be brought to our service centre for inspection by the insurance surveyor and then for carrying out repairs.
    6. An advance of approx. 1/3rd of the estimated cost of repairs is to be remitted to us while leaving the vehicle with us for repairs.
    7. After due examination of the vehicle by our technicians, a preliminary estimate of the cost of repairs will be prepared by us. A copy of the estimate is to be handed over to the insurance company for carrying out insurance survey.
    8. The vehicle will be inspected by the insurance surveyor and an approval given. A supplementary estimate may have to be prepared after dismantling the vehicle if required.
    9. The repairs will be completed within a week to 10 days depending on the extent of damages and availability of parts.
    10. Our final bill would have to be settled in full by you and claimed from the insurance company.
    11. The Insurance Company will never settle the claim amount in full. Depreciation will be applicable depending upon the age of the vehicle and material damaged (Metal /Plastic /Fibre /Rubber)
    12. Insurance can be claimed even for minor damages of less than Rs. 1000 /- value.

3 Q. What do I do if I misplace my manual book and I want to carry out free service for my vehicle?

You could visit GL Suzuki and speak to our Service department, they shall contact the company and advise you accordingly.

4 Q. Can I use my credit card for making payment towards my service?

Payment towards service bill can be by cash or credit card. Cheques are also accepted, but delivery of the vehicle will be subject to realization of the cheque. No service charges will be levied for payment through credit card.

5 Q. How do I calculate the mileage my bike gives me?

If your vehicle has a fuel tap:
1. Fill fuel above reserve level (ref. manual for reserve capacity) and run the vehicle with fuel tap in main position.
2. When the vehicle shows symptoms of choking due to fuel starvation (vehicle blocking while running) change the fuel knob to reserve position and note down the kms indicated in the odometer. (Eg- Odometer reading: 750 Kms)
3. Again fill one or two litres of petrol within the next 10 kms and change the fuel knob position to main. (Fuel quantity filled : 1 Litre)
4. When the petrol comes to reserve again note down the kms indicated in the odometer. (Eg- Odometer reading : 800 Kms)
5. The mileage calculation in the example shown is 50 Kms per Litre of petrol.

  1. If your vehicle has an auto fuel tap:
    1. Fill the petrol tank to the brim and note down the odometer reading. (Eg- Odometer reading : 500 Kms)
    2. Run the vehicle for more than 50kms and fill the tank again. Note down the odometer reading (Eg- Odometer reading : 550 Kms)
    3. Note down the fuel quantity filled in order to top up the petrol tank to full position. (Eg- Fuel quantity filled : 1 Litre)
    4. The mileage calculation in the example shown is 50 Kms per Litre of petrol.

6 Q. Is it possible to arrange spare parts for old (out of production) Suzuki bikes?

GL Suzuki has stock of genuine parts of all models of Suzuki 2 Wheelers. For out of production vehicles, we could assist customers by trying to arrange for the required spare part either from Suzuki Motorcycles India Limited or any other dealer or spare parts retailer across the country.

1 Q. What is your refund policy?

Cancellations can be made ONLY before the vehicle is sent for registation. Once the registation of the vehicle is completed, there cannot be any cancellation or Refund. A nominal fee of 250/- is charged as cancellation fees and the balance fees refunded to the customer.

 

2 Q. How do I place an order?

 Go to Online Store, Choose a Vehicle/Product of your choice add accessories as required and check out. GL Suzuki will Contact you within 24 business hours.

3 Q. Do you take orders over phone?

 Yes, We do Take Orders on phone. You can call 011-45669755, 011-45669855, 9311112755, 9311113755 and ask for the sales department and you shall get assistance.

4 Q. What are the different modes of payment?

 The different forms of payment are 1) Cheque, 2) Bank Transfer, 3) Debit or credit card ( a dealer facilitation charge will be applicable) and 4) Cash- (Accepted only if informed in Advance)

5 Q. Are there any hidden costs on purchase?

 There are no Hidden costs for Online purchase. However, there can be a nominal charge depending on the payment type you choose

6 Q. Do you have warranty on your products Sold online?

 Yes, The same two Year warrantly given by the manufacturer, Suzuki Motorcycle India Limited( SMIL) will be applicable whether you purchase the Suzuki Product online or in our showroom

7 Q. Where should the servicing of vehicle be done if purchase online from GL Suzuki?

 Vehicle Servicing can be done in any of the Authorised workshops across India. Suzuki has a Wide presence in Delhi, the list of Authorised Service centers can be looked up in the link here. All the Suzuki Authorised Service centers are bound to service the vehicle with high quality as prescribed by Suzuki from time to time.

8 Q. Can any Authorised dealer refuse or lower the quality of service because the vehicle was purchased at a other dealership?

 Absolutely not. The Entire Authorised Network of Suzuki (SMIL) is bound to give service ( both free and Paid) to any and every Suzuki motorcycle manufactured by SMIL irrespective of where it is purchased

9 Q. How long does it take for an vehicle to be delivered to me?

 The delivery time of the vehicle varies on the color and product availability. Current figures indicate GL Suzuki delivers the vehicle within 2 working days of the transaction completed from customers side.

10 Q. How are orders on www.glsuzuki.com delivered to me?

 Once All the documentation, payment processing and vehicle registration is complete, The vehicle can be delivered at our showroom or at a place of your convenience as you choose. However, the location shall be within Delhi city limits.

11 Q. Does GL Suzuki deliver products outside Delhi?

 Yes, We do sell products outside Delhi. However, this will be at the sole responsibility of the customer. The product will be shipped by Road or rail transport at actual cost after the payment and other documentation is completed.

12 Q. Are there booking fees for buying online?

 No, there are no Separate Booking fees Online. However, there will be a dealer facilitation charge if customer chooses to pay by card for the product purchase

13 Q. How do I know that GL Suzuki has received my order?

 When you submit your order we will reply to the email address you have given, confirming all your order details, including the products you have ordered and the total cost. You will also receive a call from us within 24 business hours. You can also write to us on info@glsuzuki.com

14 Q. Is it safe to use my credit/debit card?

 At the moment, we do not charge the credit card online. Should you choose the payment method as a card, it shall be swiped manually only.

15 Q. How much do you charge for delivery?

 There are no charges for delivery within Delhi Limits. If the delivery is outside Delhi, The actual transportation cost will be charged to the customer separately.

16 Q. I wish to place an order that is a gift, can you deliver directly to the recipient?

 Yes, We can deliver to the recipient directly. However, We shall need the Different documents for registering the in the name advised by the purchaser post delivery of vehicle.

17 Q. What is your policy regarding damaged goods or incorrect deliveries?

 We shall not deliver any damaged goods. However, if there is any incorrect delivery in model or color the same shall be rectified.

18 Q. How secure is shopping in the Online Shop? Is my data protected?

 Yes, Your data is protected when making a purchase online

19 Q. Can I try the product out before I buy?

 Yes, You can try the product. You need to let GL Suzuki Staff know about the same when they call you for conformation of Order/ Appointment.

20 Q. What exactly happens after ordering?

21 Q. Why have I not received an order confirmation?

 You are supposed to receive an order confirmation email within an hour and a call from GL Suzuki within 24 business hours. If you do not receive either of the same, you can write to info@glsuzuki.com.

22 Q. Do I receive an invoice for my order?

 Yes, You will receive an invoice for your purchase and a receipt for your payment.

23 Q. I have not yet received my delivery, although the stated delivery time has passed?

 Normally, all deliveries are made as promised. In case there is any unforeseen delay, the same shall be communicated to you. If you haven’t received a message after the promised time has passed, you may write to info@glsuzuki.com. You shall get an response within 6 business hours.

24 Q. Can I cancel a purchase?

 Cancellations can be made ONLY before the vehicle is sent for registration. Once the registration of the vehicle is completed, there cannot be any cancellation or refund.
